Key Findings
Key Findings
To further understand the problem, we conducted field research and did body pain mapping tests, Nordic questionnaires, task analysis, and postural analysis. The key findings are as follows:
- The gardeners can’t use it for more than 15-20 mins in one go.
- Prolonged use causes swelling in the wrist which indicates carpal related issues.
- Shoulder, elbows, and forearms are also affected.
- Wrist works as a pivot point which is subjected to most stresses.
- The sword can come loose from the hand of the user as it has no grip
